The Ghana Scholarships Authority wishes to announce for the information of the interested students the opening of the Local Scholarship Portal for the 2026/2027 academic year. The effective opening date for applications is Friday, April 10th, 2026 to Friday May 15th 2026.
PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION:
Phase 1: All applicants are required to visit the scholarship portal (www.apply.scholarships.gov.gh): Applicants must create an account to registerü Complete the application form and upload academic transcripts, admission letters and academic certificate
Phase 2: Take an aptitude test on a scheduled date within the application period Phase 3ü Qualified applicants would appear at selected MMDA for the selection interview
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should be a Ghanaian and Resident in Ghana and have gained admission into a Local Tertiary Institution and registered with the school for the programme and be offering STEM related courses and Law and be in the Public Universities Applicants are to note that the services provided by the Authority is FREE and that no individual, group or third-party entity has been engaged to assist any applicant.
