Charity Widow Foundation Set to Donate to Widows in Dormaa East on 24th December

In our everyday lives, many people celebrate Christmas with joy, food, and family. But for some widows, the festive season can also be a time of sadness, loneliness, and hardship. This is why Charity Widow Foundation, based at Wamanafo in the Dormaa East District, has taken a kind and thoughtful step to support needy widows this Christmas season.

The Bible reminds us in the book of James that true religion before God is to look after orphans and widows in their distress ( Onyamesom a ɛho teɛ na ɛho nni fi wɔ Agya Nyankopɔn anim ne sɛ obi kɔhwɛ nwisiaa ne akunafoɔ wɔ wɔn ahohiahia mu, na ɔyi ne ho firi wiase nkekaeɛ mu. ). Inspired by this teaching, Charity Widow Foundation has decided to put faith into action by showing love to widows who are struggling to make ends meet.

On 24th December 2025, the foundation will organize a donation event at Divine Grace House, Begyewe Wamanafo, where items will be shared with widows in the community. The aim is simple: to put smiles on their faces and wipe away their tears during this festive season.

The widows will receive essential items such as bags of rice, cooking oil, and clothing materials. These gifts may look small to some, but to the widows, they mean hope, care, and the feeling that they are not forgotten. This kind gesture will help them celebrate Christmas with dignity and joy.

The leadership of Charity Widow Foundation has also made it clear that they cannot do this alone ( Baakofoɔ nsa nso Nyame ani kata ). They are therefore reaching out to kind-hearted individuals, organizations, and donors to support this noble cause. Donations can be made in cash or in kind, and every little contribution will go a long way to change a life.

If you are willing to support and be a blessing to a widow this Christmas, kindly reach out to Charity Widow Foundation for donations and partnerships.
