Something big is happening today, Tuesday, 15th July 2025.
After months of waiting, talks, and gradual progress, the SRC Printing Press at AAMUSTED-Mampong is finally set to be commissioned today — a project that started under the previous administration led by H.E. Magnus Manine Mbage and Elder Stephen Agyei Danso, and now completed under the current Ephraim-Regan administration.
What started as an idea has now turned into something real and ready to serve students.
Let’s be honest — this project didn’t start today. Credit must be given to the past administration for laying the foundation and starting the process. They pushed for the procurement and secured part of the setup before handing over.
The baton was passed, and the current SRC leadership picked it up and saw it through. Ephraim and Regan’s team have completed the work, turned the vision into something practical, and now we have a fully set-up printing press ready for use.
The printing press is located at the former office of the SRC Vice President, now fully converted and set up just beside the LNUGS Office. Machines are in, the space is ready, and today, it will be officially commissioned.
The exact time hasn’t been released yet, but what’s certain is that the commissioning will happen today.
This is a huge relief for students. No more rushing to town just to print a single page. No more last-minute print stress before lectures. The press will be offering printing services at very affordable prices, because it’s run by the SRC — not private owners.
And yes, the prices will be student-friendly — just as promised.
- Official commissioning of the press
- Remarks from past and current SRC leaders
- First official documents to be printed
- Possible interaction with students after the event
This isn’t just another project. This is proof that when one administration starts something and the next one continues it, students win.
More updates will be shared right here after the commissioning.
